North Country TMS is a service of North Country Behavioral Medicine. We recognize that medications and talk therapy do not always achieve our goal of remission.  We believe that TMS therapy provides the next best hope to treat your depression, and that you will consider this for yourself and those you care about.

Our Story

In 2017 Dino Santoro MD started North Country Behavioral Medicine after leaving his position at CVPH Medical Center. At first our group consisted of Dr. Santoro, Jennifer Kanaly NP and Jennifer Brennan NP. We were soon joined by Dr. Archil Chechelashvili. Since then we have grown by leaps and bounds. In 2020 we expanded into a larger physical space in Plattsburgh, NY. Also in 2020, in partnership with Northwestern Counseling and Support Services, we opened a satellite TMS clinic in St. Albans, VT. We are very proud of our growth and ability to serve our Community, including our newest location in Colchester, VT.

Our Approach

North Country Behavioral Medicine provides psychiatric services to patients of all ages. We utilize multiple treatment modalities including specific psychotherapies, medication management and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Specific psychotherapies include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-dynamic Psychotherapy, and Eclectic Psychotherapies.  We offer TMS for patients suffering from depression that has failed to respond to medications.
